If we’re being honest, this whole record label started as a self preservation project for my own musical output in 2013 (under Stumped Records back then.) Around 2015 I decided to change the name to Just Joking Art Records as an extension of the art I was putting out into the world but this arm being focused on the musical releases.

Eventually the label grew into the huge discography of my own music but also music from a group of individuals that I am proud of calling not only my creative roster of artists but also my labelmates, friends and family.

Just Joking Art Records was always for the artists that the world took as a joke. We never had access to the resources others had, but our passion drove us to doing it all in-house and DIY simply for the love of doing it.

Independence, freedom and creative expression is our mission. We thrive the best when we can do what we want, how we want, when we want, because we want.

If we eventually end up becoming a major label with massive cultural impact we may change this outlook on life …just joking.
